Thanks for checking back.

I have found a resource for learning to code a facebook application.
http://developers.facebook.com/get_s...p?tab=tutorial

Could I by some means already have a facebook account I would gladly venture into this option myself and write a code for you to import.

One other way could be if there was arrangement between nicholas and the facebook website maybe allowing access to pictures marked as wedding tickers on their site or if it was approved that facebook could copy the method from this site to write to the tickers.

If you wished less detail in the time until marriage you would also have to reupload less frequently. Say if you want to reupload on a weekly basis, someone can make another version of your ticker measuring time in weeks.

if you want to make a version that works via flash your more then willing to. Flash has its own set of issues, like being disabled, incorrect versions, etc. Personally I dislike flash, the only thing I generally have liked is how it is used in video players. I am sure I am in the small majority of users there.

I am sure there is other ticker solutions that possibly work with facebook.

Another but potential issue with my original idea is that for dynamic text, execution references fonts from an OS/system folder. As of recent it seems even Monotype Corsiva is no longer so universal, and fonts can always be deleted to mess things. Internally supported fonts for a Flash object are _sans, _serif, and _typewriter.
Some DirectX application using bitmap fonts or recreation would likely be exempt from this.

In light of this, the issues you instantiate are inclusively specific to Flash Player ... as a portable console. Java was probably its only competitor, but there were others not as much known or supported. As a security standard, surely Flash Player can be disabled or like much other software uninstalled. DirectX, on another note, also applies maintenance with fixing versions.

Today I am not interested in Flash design; clearly many people demonstrate negative dependency on Flash, where older generation languages would prevent such problems. I learned it as part of a job opportunity in educational programming, where I chose to use ActionScript 1.0 with Flash Player 6/FP5 to teach basic Geometry. If we measure in money I scored 100%. Today I use Flash to make icons, publish static images, or work with other vector stuff. No Photoshop for me

Though I have been directed to a C64 emulator shortly after the release of AS 3.0. I think to begin by putting the least amount of information in as I can until it is called for. From a successful low-level approach, maintenance after a ported version like to Flash or whatever is only of newly added features rather than missed bugs or missing elementary implementations. Apparently harder bugs seem to be coming from adding too much information, where there is higher susceptability to self-contradiction, cause small programs with less information have less to debug. Too little would be like, failure to compile.

Why not just make an HTML/javascript based ticker too? I mean it lacks the graphical outlook, but I personally wouldn't mine having a simple date stamped for reference as I would imagine compatibility is by far more supported
